In most cases we will try to agree with you a fixed fee for family work. That means that whether you ask us to help with your divorce, your children, or a mentally incapacitated family member, you will know from the outset how much it will cost from beginning to end. And you’ll know exactly what work we’ll do in return.
You will be able to plan. You will know how much money to set aside for legal fees. And you can be sure that that is all we will ask you to pay.
Fixed fees don’t suit every case. If we are not able to predict straight away what work we will need to carry out (because some information is missing, for example), we will give you our best estimate. It’s always with the aim of being as clear and accurate and upfront as possible about the legal costs involved.
